All are keenly awaiting the release of the Shah Rukh film Ra One, for it is the costliest film to be made (In India). Considered to be one of the most cherished films of Shah Rukh Khan, this sci-fi film is produced by his own Red Chillies. Besides Shah Rukh Khan, Arjun and Kareena play significant roles in the movie by Anubhav Sinha. For the first time Shahrukh enacts a super hero ,G One. So as to compete with international standards, a variety of add-ons are given to the movie.
Recently, in a get together, the new look of Shah Rukh Khan in the superhero avtar was revealed. The superior effects used in the poster made it appear superb. Reports say Shah Rukh's G One costume, a blue suit with rubber silver, costs almost US $1 million and has been designed especially to perform the dangerous stunts in the film. Shah Rukh announced that t-shirts with Ra One image printed on them will be available in market shortly. SRK's pose in the first look of the movie bore a strong similarity with the one in the song Dard-E-Disco from the film Om Shanti Om.
Ra One is the story of a computer games expert (from Miami) who is passionate about computer games. SRK enacts the character of the computer professional who creates Ra One and G One with unusual powers. G One (Shah Rukh) is the hero while Ra One (Arjun Rampal) is the villain in the film. Kareena has, once more been paired with Mr Khan after a long time. Arjun said that Shah Rukh's and his rapport in the movie is interesting.
The special effects in the movie has been done by a group of professionals from Hollywood. Mr Rampal also said a few days back that the role demanded a lot of physical strength. For the same he underwent physical training for over 3 months. Ra One has internationally popular stars in it such as Akon, who has sung for the film and David Benullo, who penned the script of the film. He was congratulated at Mumbai for the recording of the song, which was tuned by Shekhar and Vishal. Apart from that, president of Russia Dmitry Medvedev visited the film set.
From the time of the release of the first look, the film is attracting much attention. There are comparisons between Ra One and Robot starring Rajnikanth, which was hugely successful last year. Ra One will be released in India on November 2011, which was supposed to release around mid 2011.
