What would you do to guard your family?

By Helena Sewartz

Contraband is an action-thriller about a man attempting to stay out of a world he had worked hard to leave behind and the family he'll do anything to protect.

From the starting to the dramatic end, the movie is thrilling. There's not a scene in the film which drags the tale and each bit is to a point. This is one of the finest smuggling films I've seen, the fact that it brings family, friendship, love, hate, betrayal and the typical bad guy into the film may make it sound all ordinary as almost all of the films have about the same characters nowadays, but the reason why I would ask you people to see this film is perhaps because the touch it has is unlike a lot of them out there nowadays.

Contraband is a well-made action film with strong acting, good directing, and great cinematography that draws you into New Orleans, Panama, and a freight ship.

Mark Walberg is fantastic as the lead person. He is robust in the action scenes on his smuggling trip to Panama, and he's quite good in dramatic scenes like when he is calling his better half to help her back home. He could be a robust protagonist who is likable and draws lots of empathy as he makes an attempt to fight the wrongdoers and save his people.

Overall, the film is a powerful action film. If you dismiss the standard plot and some lapses of facts, you will enjoy the intense action, strong acting, and great settings. You should watch Contraband streaming online or catch it in the theaters to enjoy it on the large screen.

There is not a lot to consider while watching it and we have seen some of this plot before in other films, a fairly solid thriller, built on equal proportions action and suspense, and punctuated by the occasional bit of experienced rug-pulling.but for a movie opening in January, it's actually pretty damn good.
