The Fun Of Speculative Fiction To Many Readers

By Carrie Drew

Twilight is one of those amazing narrative series that just took the adult literary world with a storm and catapulted its way straight to the top. Its success was so huge that it is now being put in the same leagues as the colossal hit, Harry Potter. Not only has it helped nurture a love for reading in many individuals but it has also increased literacy.

Many of the readers who get to the last page of the last series are always still in love with the narrative that they want more. This led to the popping up of hundreds of role playing and twilight fan fiction sites.

These sites are all tied together by speculative fiction which works in a really simple way. You weave a new story around the narrative that you already have. It could be set to be before its beginning, to run concurrently or to even come after the end of the original author's narrative.

This allows for an endless expansion of the twilight world. People take the course of the favorite characters fates and draw up new exciting plot lines.

Anybody involved in speculative fiction will let you know that it is so much fun and engaging. One thing that a lot of the people involved in this do not realize is that not only can it be an interesting way to have fun, it also has the added benefit of improving literary and comprehensive skills.

The beauty of these sites is that anybody can find a story or an activity to participate in. no matter what they decide to engage in, they will be open to criticism and other users comments. They will get various suggestions on what they can do to make their story telling or writing better than it may already be.

The act of writing the stories can be compared with a game in that in the same way one can play a game, you will be able to interact with the story being created.

The snowball effect of this interaction is that the narrative purely cannot end as there will always be a new plot line to explore.
