By Candy Hunter

It used to be that this organization is very secretive and is even considered as a secret society. However, recent years have proved that they are no longer that secretive and not much of its secrecy is left. They have symbols that the wear with their shirts, caps and even put it on stickers.

The group is basically known world-wide and they have many members all over. It is not that easy understanding the organization's aim, unless you are a member. They are bounded by their oath and their rituals. Small changes are evident even to other regions.

The aim of the group is to teach men social and moral virtues. They have certain trades to follow and they need to practice mutual assistance, brotherly love, equality, trust among all members, and secrecy. They also practice signs and handshakes to identify each other.

For those men who are interested to join the fraternity, they must first show how interested they are. Many ask how they can join. In order for them to be able to join, they need to research and learn about the organization itself.

They should also be twenty one years of age and must know how to read and write the local language in their region. They also must show that they are capable of supporting those around them. This is just several of the few requirements they have.

For those who are interested in joining the Freemasons Massachusetts, they can check online and find the nearest lodge within their area. They first must learn what the group is all about and fully decide if they want to join the organization.
