How to Be an Acting Modeling Star

By Bobby Franklin

Acting and Modeling may or may not be all that it's cracked up to be. Acting modeling is a very glamorous industry, but it can be ruthless at times. You should pick which avenue you want to go in, whether it's acting or modeling, but going for both at the same time may be more difficult. They both require different skills, so you may be exhausting yourself by going for both.

Finding movie auditions casting calls could be your next big break in your career. Looking for an acting modeling job? Look at the list of casting calls

A model should have clear skin and a nice bone structure and symmetrical face. Those simple things could get you far in the modeling world. The figure of the model depends on the type of modeling, whether it's run way modeling or plus size modeling.

As an actor, you should always strive to improve yourself and take acting classes or voice lessons. These first things are what the casting directors notice and take heed right away. You and your agent should have your headshot picture available along with your resume at these auditions, regardless if you are a model or actor/actress. Be sure that you have these photos on hand and also a full length photo. Click this link to see a list of music video casting calls.

Here is a good tip, hire a talent manager or better yet an agent. An agent won't charge you unless they find a job for you and then they take a percentage of that - usually 10 percent. You can have the agent scout for jobs while you look online using the link above. One thing to mention is that you will be criticized and let down a lot so develop that thick skin now. Don't take any of that criticism personally or it will really wear at your confidence. Good luck with your acting modeling search and your career.
