Various Advantages To Obtain From Dancing Midwest Hip Hop

As entertaining as it is, Midwest hip hop also has the health benefits the dancers have come to realize during their engagement in the dance. This type of activity was developed by Americans who have the African and South American descent during the 70s. The tempo and genre of the music and movement used was derived from native moves and music. As it further developed, the dance has created two subcategories. One that requires choreographed movements and another that requires spontaneity of movement.

One positive result of dancing hip hop is the emergence of toner and firmer muscles. This is due in part to the lively and upbeat music which is a combination of disco and break dancing. Thus, the participants in the routine is also expected to follow the pace of the music and make movements such as the popular popping and locking.

The pop and lock are one such move. This involves the fast and frequent flexing of arms, legs, upper body, and shoulders. The contraction and flex moves result to firmness and tone, as well as highly defined and strong muscles.

The lungs and heart are also among the beneficiaries of the movements from the activity. Once the body is involved in rigorous movements, the pulse and heart beat also quickens. This results to faster breathing and heart pumping. During the performance of the activity, an effect similar to the prominent muscle groups are also happening to the heart and the lungs.

This is because these organs are also muscles. Thus, this type of activity is also a good cardiovascular exercise that improves the manner the person breaths. It also promotes good circulation of the blood from the heart to other parts of the body. It also strengthens the lungs and the heart making it healthier and disease free longer.

Aside from becoming healthy, the person who is performing regular hip hop dances also has improved agility and balance. They also improve the coordination of their hands, feet, and the rest of the body. What makes the dance exciting is the incorporation of break dance moves in the routine. Moves in hip hop that has roots in break dance includes the execution of hand stands, flipping, and head and body spin. Balance and coordination are required for these moves.

People with inherent expertise in performing hip hop is the ones very good in spontaneous dancing. For these dancers, there is no need for a professional instruction. They are gifted with the natural ability to listen to music and create instantly a routine.

However, there is also most of the dancers who does not have the gift at first but had developed the craft through time and constant practice. They are the ones that require a professional to train them through the various steps and help them polish their moves. Once they are familiar with the moves, they develop easily the traits of balance, agility, and coordination.

Overall, the experience in dancing is refreshing and rewarding at the same time. Finishing a routine gives the dancer a certain level of fulfillment. This proves that aside from the physical benefits of Midwest hip hop routines, there is also the mental enjoyment that each dancer experiences during the performance.
