Dr Seuss Artwork Is A Tribute To A Great Writer

By Christi Larsen

Dr Seuss artwork helps people of all ages connect and reconnect with the fine writings of this influential children's book writer. Dr. Seuss, whose real last name was Geisel, wrote such classics as Green Eggs and Ham and other childhood favorites. Many adults grew up reading these classics, and today, many children are enjoying Geisel's timeless writings.

Geisel's works have helped boys and girls grow up to be lovers of knowledge and of education. The characters in Geisel's books are easy for any boy or girl to identify with and helps boys and girls of all ages learn to have empathy for others. The characters such as the speaking fish, clever cat, or funny elephant, help children to learn to identify with others and respect the feelings of their peers.

Children get a lot more of an educational experience from reading books than watching TV. Children who spend a lot of time in front of the TV will not get as much from the experience compared to reading a good book like a book written by Seuss. All the television requires is that someone turn it on while a book requires one to be alert and present.

A lot of kids spend hours spending time playing video games, some kids spend more time playing video games than watching television which is frightening. Geisel has written books that help kids learn to expand their imagination and their minds whereas video games keep kids locked up in a make believe world where violence and bloodshed is the norm. How much better this world would be if kids spent time reading Geisel's books.

Kids who take time to read books do better in their studies than kids who spend their hours in front of the television. Kids who do better in elementary school do better in high school and college and go on to attend graduate school. Kids who read Geisel's books can look forward to a richer educational experience.

Geisel was a humble man who committed his life to helping children develop their minds and imagination. He believed the children were the future of the world and that children had to be taught to love to read because reading opens up a world with no limits. Geisel is responsible in many ways for making this world a more interesting place because he helped many children, now adults, learn to appreciate the educational experience.

Many of this famous writer's books have been turned into animated movies that millions have enjoyed. The movies are a fun experience for all family members young and old. However, nothing can beat the experience of reading the books because reading helps develop the imagination.

Dr Seuss artwork is a fine addition to any home or even office. These paintings are a fine addition for any school library or children's playroom. The artwork will remind adults and children alike of the contribution Geisel has made to our society.
