However, there is a charge for admission. If visitors pay in ahead of time it is 18.00, but if they wait until same day it is held, then the price is 30.00.
Bands are the specialty of the Rowan Blues Festival in Salisbury. They sell copies of the music if anyone is interested. They have found a way to bring the two sounds of jazz and blues together in a harmonious way. This event attracts quite a few musicians from around the area. Some of the bands they have cater to swing music as well as other styles.
