A Short Review Of The Obligation Of Being Oberllyn

By Alta Alexander

Ever since the emergence of many popular books in the young adult novel genre, this genre has been becoming more and more popular as the days go by. One trilogy in particular is the Oberllyn Family Trilogy which happens to be one of the most exciting books in this genre. Book two is the most recent and this second book is known as the obligation of being Oberllyn.

For those who do not know about the trilogy, it is created by J Traveler Peton. This particular book was published in October of 2014 under the CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform. It has become one of the more popular books in the young adult genre ever since.

Now just to give a brief idea of what the story is about, basically, it is about the main character whose name is Kai Dante. Now this book takes off right where the first one finished wherein the debt slave crisis was already solved. In this time, he was already able to make the world seemingly free and safe from the conspirators that plagued the government in the first book.

Of course peace does not last too long as another threat known as Lady Venom has come out leading the Brotherhood in a battle against the Oberllyns. The main goal of the Oberllyns is to simply reduce the world population of five billion into just five hundred million people. Of course it is up to Kai Dante along with the Oberllyns and friends to make sure this threat is stopped.

However, they have to make sure that they take down the threat before the Day of the Dead in Mexico. There is kidnapping, undercover work, surveillance drones, and other very exciting things that readers can be able to find while reading and delving deep into the story. Definitely a book that has a lot of action and a lot of behind the back scheming as well.

Now this story is a little bit unusual in a sense that it would portray the government and society in actually a very subtle way. In fact, this is actually a good read for civil servants and ordinary citizens at the same time. The details that the author would show are amazing as each move of the characters are told and shown in the story.

Now unlike the usual good guy saves world by the defeating the bad guy type of plot, it is actually hard to see who really is evil and good. There are even times when the reader would think that the villains are actually not really that bad but rather misunderstood. Now he will be able to know a lot more about principles, society and values through this book.

If one is into non stop action as well as strategic moves, then he will love this book. This book is known to be quite detailed but it is also very easy to read and also very fun. This book is definitely targeted to any kind of audience no matter what age the person is.
