Better Music Quality Outdoors With Landscape Speakers

By Laura Gallagher

Hanging out in your porch or deck sounds like a good way to pass time out for relaxation. But it would be better if some music can be played in the background too. This is why landscape speakers are taking over the market, since they can be used outdoors for better sound quality.

It is just marvelous how these items are shaped in various ways. You can see them looking like rocks, light posts, tree trunks, frogs or flower pots. That would be a very good way to conceal the fact that they are indeed audio devices. Thus, you can promote the aesthetics of your garden or yard.

To get the right value, you might as well buy waterproof equipment that can resist different weather elements. There are also wireless models that promote more convenience since you no longer would have to be burying or insulating wires for protection.

For a better sound quality, choose devices that have really low frequency responses. Those with less than or 60Hz or frequency response would work better on the outdoors. To maximize the bass quality, you need to position these devices near the walls of the yard.

For maximum listening and sound quality, you should place the audio devices about 12 feet away from the usual listening area. Space them at about 8 to 10 feet to achieve better stereo imaging as well.

The higher you mount the materials though, the better sound quality at a distance it can produced. But then again, avoid mounting them more than 10 feet above the ground as that would lead to thinner sound quality. Higher audio devices can take the form of lamp shades of flower pots placed above the ground.

When selecting landscape speakers to install, make sure you take note of the quality. Have the materials tested out before taking them home, and be sure you ask about their warranties too. Consider buying only a trusted brand from a trusted seller as well.
