From Ordinary To Extraordinary, DJ Icue

By Laura Gallagher

Nowadays, machines conquer the music world. Because of these machines, listeners now have a wide array of genres like club music, hip hop, and techno as these types emerged out of the use of such devices. Because of its robot like sounds and beats, this type of music has become so popular that it has swept the world and gained many listeners. Another reason for its popularity is its versatility and ability to mix with other genres to produce a new exotic sound. Here is information about a brand of mix made by the very popular DJ Icue.

Born in New York, he started off small with nothing but a talent and passion for music. Though he graduated with an A. E. Degree from Orlando, he had different plans for his life. His dream was to create a brand of music that was new and never before heard; something out of this world. It was from there that he started his music career in 1995 in Miami, Florida.

From working in small clubs he slowly worked his way up to the top. He quickly gained popularity and soon became the DJ of several known bars such as Purdy Lounge, Lovehate, and others. He became known for his own earthly type of beat that no one else could imitate. This is apparent in his lively tunes.

Being a very talented drum player, his new mix included heavy drum use and bass sounds. This led the way to a more head banging type of beat that keeps people jumping around. Eventually he called his own brand of music the hip step. He has then been the producer for many hip step recordings.

Some of his popular remixes include 'Pot of Gold, ' 'Ghetto Dream, ' and 'Cater 2 U Remix.' He has also bopped heads alongside mainstream artists like Method Man, Gangstar, and Beatnuts. He has been under many popular record labels such as New Breed Records, which is his first, and currently SighCo Records.

Creating a new sound of music may be difficult, but DJ ICUE did it. Not only was he creative, but he knew how to turn his creativity into something solid. Because of this, he rose to the top and even played alongside many mainstream artists.
