How To Look For A TV

By Ronald Jassephilld

Planning to buy a new TV is a fun and thrilling experience. There are so many types to choose from, from the best televisions that give HD or even 3D quality, to the trusty techni-colored ones. In any situation, you will need to take into consideration a few things before making your purchase:

* Decide on how much you are willing to spend.

o You will need to compare TV prices in order to figure out how much you will need to buy the right TV for you. Prices can range from hundreds to thousands of Dollars depending on what you are looking for.

* Research on the types of televisions first.

o There are many different types of TVs, from LCD, to LED to plasma. Every type has its good points and its bad points. For instance, the LCD ones are not as bright as the plasma, but the latter tends to glare too.

o The warranty coverage of the television is another major factor. The best TVs usually have long warranty because the manufacturers trust the quality of their product.

o The video game consoles, DVD player, and other entertainment systems should be compatible to the television that you're getting. Do not forget to check the cable inputs and see if these will be compatible.

* Determine how big of a TV you want.

o The place where you will be having your TV mounted is a major factor in determining the size of it.

o Some TVs you can set up on your own. Are you planning to put it on a table or mount it on the wall? A big TV may need plenty of support and would cost you more to have it mounted.

o Make sure that there is enough room between where you are going to sit and watch the TV. The safest distance for viewing is about 8 feet away from the TV.

Do not forget to check up on reviews about a particular television model prior to buying it.
