Some Of The Most Memorable Films From The Incredibly Funny Actor, Robin Williams

By Bruce Hunter

This article will discuss the films and career of Robin Williams. Robin Willams got his big start on television, on the hit series Mork & Mindy from 1978 to 1982. After that, he established himself as one of the greatest comedians of his generation. He is an incredibly likable actor and has had some incredible films.

The following films are what I consider to be the best movies of Robin Williams' illustrious career.

One movie that undoubtedly makes the list is Mrs. Doubtfire. Who knew Robin Williams could successfully pull off the part of a female British nanny? This is a classic comedy that also stars Sally Field and Pierce Brosnan.

Another film that certainly makes the cut for me is Aladdin. Sure, this is an animated film, but it is definitely one of my favorite Disney movies of all time. Williams voices Genie, which I didn't know until recently.

It goes without saying that one film that must be included on this list is Good Will Hunting. This incredible film features Robin Williams at his best. The Academy agreed and gave Mr. Williams an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.

Dead Poet's Society is another movie that I highly recommend. To say this is an inspirational movie is an understatement. Films like Dangerous Minds, Freedom Writers and the like would not exist without Dead Poet's Society.

One other film that I will add to this list is Jumanji. This is one of the better children's films from the early 1990s, and is well worth showing to your kids if they have never seen it before. Night At The Museum would not exist without this movie's inspiration.

As it stands, this is my Robin Williams best-of list.
