Anybody alive in the 80's at some point was exposed towards the David Hasselhoff edition of Knight Rider, and KITT. All automobile enthusiasts at that time marveled over KITT - a stunning Firebird edition of the Pontiac Trans Am. What KITT was most well-known for, though, was the blinking red lights operating along the prime of the grill - and, of course, the picky AI laptop or computer. The lights presented themselves inside a distinct style, although creating a special set of noises as the camera went in for a close up.
From the perspective an older generation, I have a tendency to assume the producers and writers seemed to cater far more towards the adolescent viewers.
