How Participants Can Enjoy A Star Wars Card Game

By Tom Doerr

The Star Wars Card game allows players to take up roles of characters from the saga. The participants bring together decks based on the light and dark sides of the force. This is the mystical power responsible for driving everything in the universe.

The card decks are also there to stand for the various units. These are the ships, faucets and other relevant parts. The decks get to be played against each other while struggling to gain control of the important sections in the two worlds. This is why the participants are split into two groups.

Before starting, an assembly of the things that will be used should be made. The main component is a deck of sixty cards. There should be two separate ones for the two sides that will be playing. One should also get a dice with six sides.

Each contestant should then draw out seven cards to use for the game. This should be done after of course determining the sides that the players will be playing for. Usually, the first side to begin is the dark side.

When playing, a unit is deployed to each arena. These are found in the dark spaces shown by dark and light zones. This action needs to be continued until the build for each player is at thirty. To determine the build costs, the die is rolled. When a number that is above four turns up, it represents a win. Any that comes below it will stand for a loss.

By controlling two out of the three arenas the game is won. Sides can then be switched to allow the contestants play the other side. The one who wins two out of three matches can be said to have won the Star Wars Card game. To help facilitate quick learning for a newbie, someone with lots of experience should be asked to join in the match. This way all the rules can be explained along.
