The Best Owen Wilson Movies So Far

By Edwin Richards

There are only a handful of actors who can appear in multiple comedies, often in the same year, without becoming irritating or having their act become old and unfunny. In my opinion, Owen Wilson is one of those actors. Regardless of the film in which he stars, he is always charming and usually hilarious.

Here are what I consider to be Owen Wilson's top five movies of his career.

One movie that definitely makes the cut for me is Zoolander. One of the iconic comedies in recent memory, Ben Stiller stars as Derek Zoolander, a male model who has been on top of the male modeling industry for years, until a new rival, Hansel (played by Wilson), comes along.

The Darjeeling Limited is another movie that I would certainly include on this list. This film is directed by Wes Anderson, as many of the best Owen Wilson films happen to be. This film chronicles three brothers (Wilson, Adrien Brody and Jason Schwartzman) as they take a trip across rural India on a train.

Plain and simple, Wedding Crashers has to make the list. There are few comedic duos in recent memory that had the chemistry and charisma that Wilson and Vince Vaughn had in this film. This movie is hilarious and a brilliant concept.

The Royal Tenenbaums is another movie that certainly makes the top five Owen Wilson films for me. This is probably Wes Anderson's best film to date, and has an all star cast including Ben Stiller, Gwyneth Paltrow, Luke Wilson, Angelica Huston, Gene Hackman, Bill Murray and Danny Glover.

The final movie to make the list for me is Meet The Parents. I didn't care much for the sequel, but the original film is absolutely hilarious. Audiences are supposed to hate Owen Wilson in this movie, but it's hard to!

As it stands, these are my favorite Owen Wilson movies up to this point in his career.
