The Art Of Photography By Boston Architectural Photography

By Shawna Fletcher

Creating breath-taking pictures through photographs are thought of as art. In the modern times, every affair has picture taking sessions to preserve memories of these events and because we have easy access on portable cameras and built in cameras picture taking is made much easier for us. Taking pictures becomes a hobby of most people. They simply would capture almost anything and upload these pictures in social networking sites. Others take pictures to earn money. There are also people who share interests and formed groups like the Boston Architectural Photography. This is great for people who are looking to learn different techniques for better shots.

This group is formed by photographers who agreed to make a website and display their pieces on this site.

Photography already exists at some stage in the era of early people; there are evidences that people during those days already practiced it. Changes have occurred in the method and the equipment through the years.

Processes of this include black and white or monochrome, color, full spectrum, ultraviolet and infrared and digital.

The modes of productions are amateur, commercial, art, science and forensic. An amateur photographer is the one who practices photography as a hobby and not for profit. On the other hand commercial photographers are paid for the images they have taken rather than works of arts.

There are arguments that are always subject to discussions especially in the artistic circle. Many artists have argued that it is a mechanical reproduction of image. According to them it needs to be redefined in order to qualify as a work of art, it should be a way of determining what makes a photograph beautiful as seen by the viewers. Photography is also used in other branches of science in collecting data and preserving them. Like in the field of engineering and in forensic.

Aside from cameras, there are other things used to capture images like xerography, photogram and scanners. And because of the modern technologies a lot more will surely be discovered changing the process of taking the pictures. In contrary to what has been argued about it as an art, the Boston Architectural Photography had shown that theirs is really a work of art by combining architecture and photography.
