Music Downloads for MP3 Players

By Marcus Anthony

There was a time when it was a very simple process for someone to download all of their favorite songs from their favorite artists. Not only was it simple, but it was completely free. All a user had to do was go online and use Napster, this enabled them to download all of their songs completely free of charge. A Napster user could compile a catalog of all of their favorite tracks, completely free of charge. Well, lawsuits followed this and the rest is history.

So how can someone get free music? Well, the first thing to do is to be registered at Amazon Music, Google Music, and iTunes. Believe it or not these different music providers often run specials where free music is given away. Additional to that, they also run specials where albums can be purchased for as cheap as 99 cents.

So a way to get all of the music out there for free no longer exists. The way to do this no longer exists legally, at least. There are programs out there that enable people to get music for free. One way they do it is by taking the audio from a YouTube video and using it to create an audio track. The user is then able to name the audio track and add it to a library. Pretty sneaky isn't it?

So it's not all bad news when it comes to purchasing music online. For one thing, since the music is only delivered digitally, this allows the artist to sell their music at a much lower price. When music was sold on CD, it was very common for someone to pay upwards of $20 for a new album. Now with it sold electronically most new albums can be had for under $10. That is much cheaper.

While times have changed, it has definitely changed for the better. When someone buys music electronically, they do not have to worry about the CD getting damaged or losing track of it. The music can be played from home, on their cell phone, in the car, it really does make things easier. Finding music downloads for MP3 players is actually easier than ever, it's just not free, provided someone wants to obtain it legally.
