One among the talented young stars Ranbir Kapoor could not succeed with Saawariya, his debut film in Bollywood released in 2007. However, he did manage to pick up the Filmfare Best Male Debut trophy for the character in the film.
His following film Bachna Ae Haseeno turned both the masses and critics in his favor and did commercially well. Wake Up Sid and Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani were successful at the box office although both films met with mixed responses. His 2010 projects are the lately out Rajneeti and Anjaana Anjaani opposite to Priyanka Chopra.
Abhay Deol belongs to the talented lot of rising actors who is known for his unconventional selection of Hindi movies. Not like the typical Bollywood hero, his chosen debut film was Socha Na Tha in 2005. The movie did not gather much enthusiasm with the masses. His film Oye Lucky Lucky Oye released in 2008 was successful at the box office which also brought him good reactions.
Dev D by Anurag Kashyap gave a boost to Abhay's acting career and soon he was considered among the best. He will be seen in upcoming Bollywood movies directed by Zoya Akhtar and Rajshri Ojha titled Running with the Bulls and Aisha respectively.
