The culture of the region may be of interest to you if you like to watch Korean dramas. There is a lot of information on the regions rich heritage that can be of great interest to any observer. If you are interested in increasing your knowledge of this culture there are many resources that can be used to do that.

Of course there is the option of speaking with someone who has lived in the region. If you do not know anyone from the region you could also conduct an Internet search for information about the country. There are websites that are managed by South Korea's foreign affairs division that can serve as excellent resources for information about the region. Whatever your resource, it will be important to ensure that the information that you obtain is reliable.

Korea is composed of both North and South Korea and population is close to 80 million. The region became divided into two separate countries due to the occupation of two areas of this region by Cold War superpowers. The northern part of this region is still a very private place. The seventh area of this region has seen much more developments and the economy has grown tremendously in the past 50 years.

The southern portion of the region known as south Korea has a vibrant expatriate population. The country has a very diverse population as a result of immigration from different parts of the world. The Economy in this country rivals any first world country and on occasion surpasses them in standards of living. Additionally the country is now a powerhouse in regional economic concerns.

One of the most famous foods in the country is also considered a health resource. There are claims that the food has health benefits that help reduce the signs of old age. Additionally claims are made that there are vital nutrients contained in the food that help with other aspects of human

Some parts of the education system in this country rank among the world's top three. Education in both primary school as well as second risk is free and students are expected to go to school. The education system in primary and secondary school is very different from the ways that students are educated at university.

As one would expect there are a lot of aspects of the Korean culture that are inherently different than those in other cultures. One examples of this is the way Koreans regard newborns and how old they are considered when they're born. The view in the culture is that a child has completed their first year while still in the womb which means that they start life at one year old.

The religion and language as well as the culture of the Korean people provides a very interesting source of information that serves as a good foundation for these dramas to draw their inspiration.
