DJ ICUE grew up listening to many different kinds of music genres which later helped him in his musical career. At an early age, he had a dream of one day creating his own type of music. ICUE survived the world on his talent, passion and determination for music.
Being from New York, he witnesses the birth of many music genres such as punk and hip hop. He also experienced the rise of the electronic scene and House music as New York was in the center of it all. All these genres of music influenced him greatly in his varied taste in music. His varied taste in music helped him to develop his own brand of music later on in his career.
His party life started when he arrived in Miami at the age of 14. As he was able to teach himself how to use the decks, he began doing parties as well as selling mix tapes in school. Later he begun to play night club gigs and soon he was producing his own music.
DJ ICUE music career officially started when he laid his foundation immediately after he graduated from high school in Orlando. Originally being from New York, he had attitude as well as style and talent which he utilized well to propel him to the level he has achieved. He took over the music scene with his extraordinary beats when he started playing in clubs. By playing extraordinary beats, he started to gain attention and soon he stood out from other DJs.
He started by working in small clubs and slowly worked his way up to the top. He gained popularity quickly and soon became the disc jockey for several well known bars such as Purdy lounge many others. He became well known by many people due to his earthly type of beat. Many DJs were not able to imitate this type of beat that he had created.
As ICUE was also talented as a drum player, he included the use of heavy drum use and bass sounds in his new mix. This led the way to a more head banging beat that kept people jumping in clubs. Later he named his brand of music as hip step. He is the producer that is credited for many hip step recordings in the world.
ICUE is also known for producing post audio for films as well as movies. This audio post production is done in his studio which he opened after completing his studies from Full sail in 2002. He has worked with various recording companies throughout his career. He has also worked with numerous artists such as method man, Beatnuts and Gangstar.
DJ ICUE has continued to carry himself very orderly and honestly even though the music industry is closely linked to negative aspects such as drugs. He can blend different music genres or flow from one to another with ease. DJ ICUE is considered as one of the most talented disc jockeys in south Florida. His success is built on pillars of loyalty and hard work. This is why he continues to succeed in this industry. Disc jockeying is a good profession to undertake in and it is has continued to gain popularity throughout the world.
