Music has always been known to provide us with more good than harm. From being a source of relaxation to soothing, it has it all. There are various categories of music . Among the various categories of music is the blues music. It is one of the pillars to the music industry and has given rise to the other types of music. The jazz, rhythm and hip hop all emerged from the blues music. The history and heritage of this music is now being taught to students. The Blues education has been brought into the classrooms to help students know about the nature and history of music. There are several schools which are now embracing this form of teaching into their system.

Teachers are able to get all the requirements needed to teach this subject. Students in the 9th grade to those in the 12th grade are the ones who mostly receive this education. Music performers will be able to improve on their performance in music thanks to this kind of learning.

Children can now be able to learn more about the culture of this form of music and its history. They also get to know its achievements so far. Many people have the opportunity of learning more about this music. Through this they will be able to appreciate the value of music.

Since the blues are important to the history of music it is necessary that it be taught in schools. It will enable the history of music to be appreciated more. In knowing the history it will enable those who are in the field of music to perform music better to their audience.

Teachers will be able to get more information on the American culture as well as the history about this kind of music. The workshops will enable the students to learn more about blues music while enjoying the lesson. The teacher and the students will both gain valuable knowledge from this program.

Students will be able to know of the struggles that relate to the heritage of this music. The experiences in this music can be related to the experiences in the Iron Age. The program will help in creating awareness for this music. The education will be embraced by many people because of this awareness which will be created for this form of music.

Lectures and artistic performance are the two main ways in which the lesson can be taught. Lectures provide the students with the theory part of the music. Lectures will enable them get in touch with the history of how the music came to be. The artistic performances on the other hand will give them the real feeling of the music thus leading to them to appreciate this form of music.

Blues education in schools has enabled students to attend classes more. They can be able to express themselves without fear. They have developed self-esteem and are now able to choose on their careers wisely. Apart from being educative, the program also gives the students entertainments through the performance from different musicians. Students are now more creative with whatever they do thanks to this kind of education in schools. The education brings along with it many benefits to the students.
